Thirty years ago, Craig Chrisman had a passion for packaging and struck out on his own (with his wife) to start a custom retail packaging business in Christiansburg, Virginia. Prestar Packaging was born and was actually named for their three children: Taylor, Preston, and Parker. It doesn’t get more family-owned and oriented than that!
Since then, Prestar has only grown exponentially, working on projects with some major brands, as well as local businesses. We have worked with all kinds of businesses, such as Estee Lauder and other perfume and cosmetics companies, as well as local candy companies and spas.
Specializing in all types of rigid set up boxes, we also hold patents for the design and manufacturing of several unique gift card packaging solutions at our sister company, Creative Carding.
As a broad-range facility, we have the capability to produce small quantities as well as large-run projects.
