We only have one planet. We’ve got to protect it, right? What is Prestar Packaging doing to help preserve it for future generations?
WE PRIORITIZE SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS
Prestar Packaging is so proud to use 80% post-consumer paper products. This means that the majority of the materials that we use are already recycled materials.
We are so lucky to work with amazing vendors that are doing their part, too. From our chipboard to the papers we source, it was very important to find businesses that would provide us with sustainable materials, on top of being of amazing quality.
COMPLETE THE CYCLE
So our materials are sustainable. But what about the finished product?
We do make quality packaging that is full of repurposing possibilities. However, if you don’t save packaging, we hope you’ll be happy to hear that our products are not only recyclable, but compostable, too. Our paper-and-chipboard packaging makes great food for the garden! If you recycle and/or compost, we salute you for doing your part to complete the cycle. We’re proud to be a part of it.
WE REUSE PACKING MATERIALS
That’s right! We reuse cartons and inner packing materials whenever possible. We do have custom-sized cartons for shipping our gift cards, but when it comes to repacking them into larger cartons or saving small cartons to ship samples, we’re all about that. As long as it still gives maximum protection for the items we’re shipping to you, we’re reusing it! Honestly, it makes us feel really good to know we’re giving these materials a second life.
Sometimes, the packaging may look slightly used, but the boxes inside definitely won’t be!
Recycle at work
We make sure that there are plenty of recycling receptacles for our employees to use, but also bail any excess materials that result from our box manufacturing and send it to a paper company to reuse in their paper manufacturing process.
